1. Pre-Operative Care

  • Conduct patient evaluations and prepare patients for surgery.
  • Take detailed medical history, explain procedures, and obtain informed consent.
  • Ensure all required investigations and reports are completed prior to surgery.
  • Provide counseling to patients and families regarding surgery, risks, and post-care.

2. Surgery Assistance

  • Assist the Senior Plastic Surgeon during surgical procedures.
  • Maintain sterile environment and follow OT protocols strictly.
  • Handle surgical instruments and equipment efficiently.
  • Monitor patient vitals during procedures as per requirement.

3. Post-Operative Care

  • Monitor patient recovery and manage immediate post-operative concerns.
  • Conduct dressing, wound care, and post-op medication administration.
  • Educate patients about after-care, recovery timelines, and follow-up protocols.
  • Identify and escalate any complications to the Senior Surgeon.

4. Patient Follow-Up

  • Conduct regular follow-up appointments to assess healing and outcomes.
  • Document progress notes and update patient records in the system.
  • Provide guidance on scar management, physiotherapy (if needed), and cosmetic outcomes.
  • Address patient queries and ensure high patient satisfaction.

5. Stock & Inventory Management

  • Monitor and maintain OT consumables, surgical instruments, and medicines.
  • Coordinate with pharmacy/administration for timely procurement.
  • Ensure no shortage of critical surgical supplies.

6. Administration & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate medical records and reports as per clinic protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with medical, legal, and ethical standards.
  • Assist management in audits, quality checks, and accreditation processes.

7. Staff Management & Work Distribution

  • Supervise nursing staff, OT technicians, and assistants during surgeries.
  • Allocate duties and responsibilities among team members for smooth workflow.
  • Train junior doctors, nurses, and support staff on surgical and patient care protocols.
  • Promote teamwork, discipline, and adherence to SOPs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40, ₹45,000.00 per month
