Job Overview:

The Marketing Executive is an entry-level position responsible for supporting the marketing team in executing marketing strategies for Trescon's events and services. This role reports to the Marketing Manager and works closely with other team members to ensure the successful promotion and execution of events.

Key Responsibilities:

Event Marketing Support

  • Assist Marketing Manager in implementing marketing strategies for assigned events

  • Manage social media channels for assigned events o Create and schedule at least 1 social media post per day per event

  • Content publishing o Manage publishing of blogs/press releases approved by MM on websites and socials

  • Assist in email campaign creation and execution o Help create and send at least 2 email campaigns per week per event

  • Attendee communications o Manage all communications with attendees such as welcome mails and regular newsletters

  • Regularly update event websites and registration platforms

  • Promotions through Event Partners o Assist in effective and timely promotional activities through event partners (Media and associations, Affiliates and agents

  • Flexibility to handle events as a Marketing Manager or support existing teams for larger events as required, when the need arises.

Content Creation and Management

  • Develop engaging content for various marketing channels

  • Assist in creating marketing collateral (brochures, flyers, banners)

  • Manage content on event networking apps

  • Coordinate with speakers and sponsors for content collection

  • Assist in producing video content such as interviews, testimonials, and promotional videos

Database Management

  • Assist in maintaining and updating marketing databases

  • Support lead generation efforts

  • Help in segmenting and targeting audiences for campaigns

Tools and technologies

  • Manage most marketing activities on our CRM/marketing tools such as HubSpot.

  • Be hands-on with all other marketing tools and technologies we are using.

Reporting and Analytics

  • Keep marketing plan/schedule document up to date

  • Track and report on marketing campaign performance

  • Assist in preparing weekly and monthly marketing reports

  • Consistently follow-up with sales teams regarding enquiries

On-site Event Support

  • Assist in managing on-site branding and marketing activities

  • Support social media coverage during events

  • Help collect attendee testimonials and feedback

  • Assist with on-site registration platforms and desks

  • Support the management of event apps and networking tools

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Coordinate with other departments (sales, operations, production) as needed

  • Assist in managing relationships with marketing vendors and partners Continuous Learning and Development

  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in digital marketing

  • Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance skills

Qualifications:
• Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
• 2-3 years of experience in marketing, preferably in the B2B industry.

Experience in events industry is a plus

  • Proficiency in social media platforms and basic digital marketing tools

Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Familiarity with content management systems and email marketing platforms

Skills and Competencies:

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Creativity and attention to detail

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks

  • Basic understanding of SEO and content marketing principles

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Google Workspace

Performance Metrics:

  • Quality and quantity of content produced (social media posts, blogs, email campaigns)

  • Engagement rates on social media and email campaigns

  • Contribution to lead generation and event registrations

  • Timely completion of assigned tasks and projects

  • Feedback from Marketing Manager and team members

This role is crucial in supporting Trescon's marketing efforts and contributes to the overall success of the company's events and services. The Marketing Executive is expected to be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
