Maths Teacher

The Mathematics Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging, concept-based math lessons that build strong foundational skills and promote logical thinking. The teacher must create an effective learning environment, assess student performance, and support academic growth in alignment with the school's curriculum and academic standards.

2. Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching & Learning

• Plan, prepare and deliver daily Mathematics lessons as per the ICSE/CBSE/International curriculum.
• Teach mathematical concepts with clarity using real-life examples, hands-on activities, and audio-visual learning tools.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching aids, worksheets, and assessments.
• Ensure syllabus completion within timelines and prepare students for assessments, examinations, and competitions.

Classroom Management

• Maintain an orderly, safe, and positive learning environment.
• Monitor student behaviour and implement discipline strategies as per school policies.
• Encourage active student participation and collaborative learning.

Assessment & Evaluation

• Design formative and summative assessments, assignments, and quizzes.
• Evaluate students' progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate records of students' performance and attendance.

Student Support

• Identify learning gaps and provide remedial or enrichment classes as required.
• Support slow learners and challenge advanced learners with differentiated strategies.
• Communicate regularly with parents about student progress and concerns.

Professional Responsibilities

• Participate in staff meetings, training programs, workshops, and school events.
• Collaborate with peers and academic coordinators for curriculum planning.
• Maintain discipline, ethical standards, and adhere to the school's code of conduct.
• Update professional knowledge through continuous learning.

3. Required QualificationsEducational Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mathematics / Applied Mathematics.
• B.Ed. in Mathematics is mandatory.
• Additional certifications in teaching or pedagogy will be an advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of teaching experience (freshers with strong subject knowledge may apply).
• Experience in ICSE/CBSE/IB/IGCSE curriculum preferred.

Pay: ₹40, ₹65,000.00 per month
