Digital Marketing Intern — Hostelbird (India's First Hostel Booking Platform)

Location: Remote / Goa / Flexible

Job Type: Internship (Full-time / Part-time)

Stipend: ₹5,000 – ₹10,000 / month (based on performance)

Duration: 3 – 6 months

Start Date: Immediate

About Hostelbird

Hostelbird is India's first homegrown hostel booking platform, built for backpackers, solo travelers, and Gen Z explorers. We make travel more affordable, social, and community-driven with curated stays, events, and local experiences.

We're growing fast and looking for a creative, proactive Digital Marketing Intern to join our team.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in executing digital marketing campaigns across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Reddit, Google, etc.)
  • Support social media management: posting content, engaging with the community, and tracking performance
  • Help with SEO & content marketing — keyword research, on-page optimization, and blog coordination
  • Contribute to email marketing campaigns, newsletters, and outreach initiatives
  • Track campaign metrics and prepare weekly performance reports
  • Work closely with the marketing team to brainstorm and implement new ideas

Requirements

  • Passion for digital marketing, travel, and startups
  • Good understanding of social media platforms and trends
  • Basic knowledge of SEO, Canva/Photoshop, or email tools is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and creativity
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
