Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain complex COBOL programs for mainframe systems using VSAM.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and implement solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to program execution, data processing, and system performance on mainframes.
  • Develop technical documentation for code changes, testing procedures, and maintenance activities.

Job Requirements :

  • 5-9 years of experience in mainframe development with expertise in COBOL programming language.
  • Strong understanding of JCL (Job Control Language) for job scheduling and batch processing on mainframes.
  • Experience working with VSAM (Virtual Storage Access Method) for file management and data storage.
