Role Description RSNGINFO Solutions is seeking a Senior Mainframe Developer for a full-time, on-site position located in Hyderabad. The Senior Mainframe Developer will be responsible for analyzing user requirements, designing, developing, and maintaining mainframe applications. The role involves debugging code, optimizing system performance, performing system testing, and implementing solutions to meet project deadlines. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure software delivery aligns with business objectives is a key part of the role. A strong commitment to quality, efficiency, and effective communication is essential. Qualifications - Participate in all phases of software development, including design, configuration, testing, debugging, implementation, and support of mainframe and distributed applications. - Excellent knowledge in COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL, VSAM.Knowledge in MQ, Teradata will be a plus. - Good knowledge on Debugging tools, SCM tools like Endevor, scheduling tools like CA7 - 35 years of experience in mainframe application development or support. - Proven experience working with diverse, cross-functional teams. - Familiarity with modern delivery practices and agile methodologies. - Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse teams, stakeholders, and technical professionals. - Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Previous experience in a senior role or leading mainframe projects is highly desirable.
