Role & responsibilities

We are seeking a Senior Graphics Programmer with strong expertise in C++ and C# (.NET) to design and develop high-performance graphics and visualisation components for medical simulation products. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of real-time rendering, 3D graphics pipelines, and simulation software architecture, with a passion for creating realistic and interactive learning experiences in healthcare technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and optimise graphics and visualisation modules for medical simulation and training products.
  • Develop and maintain core simulation and rendering systems using C++ and C# .NET frameworks.
  • Collaborate closely with simulation engineers, UX designers, and medical domain experts to build immersive 3D visual environments.
  • Integrate and customise graphics frameworks such as OpenGL, OpenCV, and WebGL to enhance realism and performance.
  • Implement algorithms for image processing, 3D model manipulation, and real-time visualisation.
  • Debug, profile, and optimise rendering pipelines to achieve stable and high frame rates.
  • Ensure graphics systems meet medical visualisation accuracy, performance, and reliability standards.
  • Contribute to technical design documentation and participate in code reviews.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies in graphics programming, simulation, and medical visualisation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, Computer Graphics, or related field.
  • Strong programming skills in C++ and C# with a solid understanding of object-oriented principles and .NET libraries.
  • Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in building simulation, game, or visualisation-based products.
  • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in developing graphics-intensive or serious simulation products.
  • Experience with graphics frameworks such as OpenGL, OpenCV, or WebGL.
  • Solid understanding of 3D mathematics, shaders, and rendering pipelines.
  • Experience in real-time 3D visualisation, scene management, and physics-based rendering.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git, SVN) and modern development workflows.

Good to Have:

  • Experience with Python, Java, and JavaScript for scripting, integration, or web visualisation.
  • Knowledge of game engines (Unity, Unreal) or medical imaging frameworks (DICOM, VTK, ITK).
  • Exposure to GPU programming (CUDA, DirectCompute).
  • Understanding of medical data visualisation, VR/AR frameworks, or interactive training systems.
  • Prior experience in cross-platform development or mixed reality applications.
