Job Title: Executive Warehouse & Logistics

Location: HO, Bangalore, Karnataka

Department: Supply Chain / Warehouse / Logistics

Reports To: Senior Manager

Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Executive to oversee and coordinate the storage and distribution of goods. The ideal candidate will ensure that the right products are delivered to the right location on time, at a good cost. He will be responsible for managing Fresh Food, Frozen Storage & Delivery operations, optimizing supply chain processes, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse Control Tower "Daliy/Weekly/Monthly" Checklist to be performed. Include formal "Weekly/Fortnight/Monthly" reviews of self-performance with Reporting Manager.

Warehouse Management:

(i) Timely receipt GRN and dispatch of goods

(ii) Proper handling and storage of inventory

(iii) Compliance with safety and hygiene standards

(iv) Optimization of warehouse space utilization

Logistics Management

(i) On-time deliveries to Chaipoint Experience BU and "Chaipoint Everywhere" BU

(ii) Coordination with transport vendors

(iii) Cost optimization in freight and transportation

(iv) Effective route planning and tracking

Inventory Management

(i) Accuracy of stock records and reconciliation

(ii) Reduction in inventory discrepancies

(iii) Adherence to FEFO, LEFO FIFO & IFO practices

(iv) Warehouse Stock Audit and Reports

Cost Control & Optimization

(i) Reduction in operational costs

(ii) Minimizing wastage and pilferage

(iii) Budget adherence for logistics and warehouse expenses

(iv) Process improvements leading to cost savings

Problem-Solving & Innovation

(i) Implementation of new ideas for process efficiency

(ii) Addressing warehouse and logistics bottlenecks

(iii) Contribution to process automation and digitization

(iv) Continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements and Skills:

  • Proven working experience as a warehouse and logistics executive.
  • Record of successful distribution and assist warehouse logistics teams.
  • Demonstrable ability to lead and manage self.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
  • BS in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or relevant field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in logistics Six sigma or equivalent.
  • Experience with ERP software in warehouse and logistics management systems (WMS, TMS).
  • Knowledge of customs regulations, intercity and intracity shipping.
