The opportunity:

• Experience: 8-12 years of overall professional experience, with a minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in Python development.
• Candidates from Tier 1 or Tier 2 institutions in India (e.g., IITs, BITS Pilani, IIITs, NITs, etc.) are strongly preferred.
• Core Python: Deep expertise in Python, including a strong understanding of its ecosystem, standard libraries, and common design patterns.
• Frameworks: Extensive experience with at least one major Python web framework, such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI(Must).
• Database Expertise: Proficiency in working with both relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis).
• API Design: Proven experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL services.
• Cloud & DevOps: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernete

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Python applications using 
  FastAPI.
• Collaborate with front-end developers ) for full-stack development.
• Work with PostgreSQL and other databases to manage data and optimise performance.
• Contribute to Python-based projects from design to deployment.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues in code and applications.
• Significant experience in server-side development using Python
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design, microservices architecture, and service-oriented design
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or DynamoDB
• Application of software design skills and methodologies (algorithms, data structures, design patterns, software architecture and testing)
• Hands-on experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Good teamwork skills - ability to work in a team environment and deliver results on time.
• Strong communication skills - capable of conveying information concisely to diverse audiences.
• Exposure to DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins), containerization (e.g., Docker), and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes)(Must)

Required Expertise:

• Strong experience in programming/Software and Frameworks: Python, Flask/FASTAP(Must)I, gRPC
• Proficiency in using AI tools such as GitHub Copilot.
• Proficient in creating and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency in writing unit test cases
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
• Experience with event streaming platforms such as Kafka
• Familiarity with serverless architecture.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Working knowledge of AWS services and cloud deployment practices.
• A keen eye for design details and familiarity with best practices in responsive UI design.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in Agile environments.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate on solutions with other team members.
• Self-starter and individual thinker.
• Ability to take a problem and use resources to solve it.
• Fintech and Payments domain is added advantage

Education:

• Candidates from Tier 1 or Tier 2 institutions in India (e.g., IITs, BITS Pilani, IIITs, NITs, etc.) are strongly preferred.
