Role Overview

We are seeking an SEO Specialist with strong content writing skills to optimize our website (Shopify-based) and help us rank higher in search engines. This role will be responsible for SEO strategy, on-page/off-page optimization, keyword research, technical fixes, and blog/article creation focused on streetwear, fashion, and lifestyle topics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute an SEO strategy to increase organic traffic and rankings.
  • Perform keyword research to identify high-value terms for product pages, categories, and blogs.
  • Optimize on-page SEO (titles, meta descriptions, headers, content, alt tags, internal linking).
  • Audit website for technical SEO issues (page speed, mobile usability, duplicate content, indexing) and work with developers to fix.
  • Create and publish SEO-friendly blog articles on streetwear, sneaker culture, styling guides, and brand lifestyle content.
  • Implement structured data (schema) for product and blog pages to improve SERP visibility.
  • Build and manage backlink strategies through outreach, influencer collaborations, and guest posts.
  • Track SEO performance using Google Analytics, Search Console.
  • Stay updated on the latest SEO trends, Google algorithm updates, and content best practices.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in SEO for e-commerce websites (Shopify experience preferred).
  • Proven track record of improving organic rankings and traffic.
  • Strong knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills (blogs, product descriptions, lifestyle articles).
  • Familiarity with SEO tools (Google Search Console, Google Analytics)
  • Understanding of fashion/streetwear industry trends is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS, structured data, and Shopify SEO apps is a plus.
