: Senior Talent Acquisition Partner

Huntsman is seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner supporting the GBS located in San Jose, Costa Rica. This position will report to the Talent Acquisition Manager.

Job Scope

The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner plays a crucial role in driving talent acquisition strategies, collaborating with business leaders, and achieving high-quality hiring results. This position requires a proactive approach to identifying and attracting top talent through various sourcing strategies while effectively influencing stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives. The Talent Acquisition Partner will oversee the entire recruitment lifecycle, from strategic sourcing and assessment to selection and onboarding.

In summary, as the Senior Talent Acquisition Partner, you will:

Talent Acquisition & Sourcing
  • Develop and implement proactive sourcing strategies to identify and attract top talent through various channels, including digital platforms, professional networks, and industry events.
  • Engage in consultative discussions with hiring managers to understand talent requirements, define key candidate attributes, and align sourcing efforts with business goals.
  • Utilize market insights and data to enhance recruitment methods, optimize candidate pipelines, and tackle hiring challenges.
  • Employ technology and recruitment tools to streamline sourcing, tracking, and selection processes.
  • Ensure a structured and effective screening and selection process that aligns with business needs and the availability of market talent.
Stakeholder Partnership & Influence
  • Act as a trusted recruitment advisor, offering guidance on best hiring practices, market conditions, and talent trends.
  • Establish strong relationships with stakeholders, keeping them informed through regular updates, data-driven insights, and collaborative discussions.
  • Provide coaching on effective interviewing and selection techniques, ensuring fair and structured hiring decisions.
  • Maintain open communication with hiring teams, gathering feedback to continuously enhance recruitment strategies.
Candidate Experience & Offer Management
  • Ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey, from initial outreach to onboarding.
  • Effectively communicate the value of opportunities, positioning the company as an employer of choice.
  • Collaborate with hiring teams to align on competitive offers and facilitate smooth negotiations.
Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement
  • Work independently and manage multiple priorities, ensuring efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, recruitment technologies, and best practices to refine talent acquisition strategies.
Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

The candidate must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in Costa Rica.

Candidates must be willing to work onsite on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Additional office days may be required as needed or during corporate visits.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree or 3 years equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Candidates must have at least 3 years of consecutive experience in full-cycle talent acquisition, with their most recent role reflecting expertise in sourcing and stakeholder management supporting North America and other regions.
  • Experience using recruiting technologies, including LinkedIn Recruiter, AI sourcing tools, Workday, and Microsoft applications.
  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate with hiring managers, HR teams, and business leaders.
  • Experience with data-driven recruiting, using insights to enhance sourcing and selection strategies.
  • Proficient in English (B2 ) and Spanish, with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Valid US Visa and passport is highly desirable.
