Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced
Azure Platform Infrastructure Administrator
to manage, monitor, and optimize our Microsoft Azure environment. The role involves ensuring high availability, security, and performance of cloud infrastructure while supporting business operations and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain Azure infrastructure services including virtual machines, networking, storage, backups, and monitoring.
  • Manage Azure Active Directory, role-based access control (RBAC), and identity governance.
  • Configure and monitor Azure security tools such as Security Center, Defender, and firewalls.
  • Implement and support disaster recovery, backup, and high-availability solutions.
  • Automate routine administrative tasks using PowerShell, ARM templates, or Terraform.
  • Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and optimize resource utilization.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, IT, and security teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3–4 years of hands-on experience in Azure infrastructure administration.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure networking, storage, identity, and monitoring tools.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/ARM/Bicep).
  • Experience with Azure Backup, Site Recovery, and monitoring solutions.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps pipelines and CI/CD practices.
  • Good understanding of cloud security, governance, and compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Microsoft Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-500).
  • Exposure to hybrid cloud environments (Azure + on-premises).
  • Knowledge of containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and automation tools.
