Job Title: SAP MM Functional Consultant

Location: Paiyanur

Department: Information Systems

Experience Required: Minimum 5 Years in SAP MM

Job Summary:

SAP MM Functional Consultant with 5+ years of experience to support our Materials Management (MM) operations within SAP ECC6. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, hands-on experience in SAP implementation and support environments, and a strong foundation in MM Master Data Management.

Experience in the automotive industry is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and support the SAP MM module, including Purchasing and Inventory management.
  • Participate in SAP implementation, upgrade, and rollout projects as an MM Functional consultant.
  • Work closely with business teams to gather requirements and design solutions aligned with SAP best practices.
  • Manage and maintain MM master data (Material Master, Vendor Master, Info Records, etc.).
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (SD, FI, PP, QM, etc.) to ensure data integrity and process integration.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot MM-related issues, providing timely resolution and documentation.
  • Document business processes, functional specifications, and test scripts.
  • Support end-user training and contribute to change management activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as an SAP MM Functional Consultant.
  • Strong knowledge and implementation experience of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) business processes.
  • Solid understanding of MM Master Data Management (Material Master, Vendor Master, Info Records, etc.).
  • Proven experience in SAP MM configuration, issue resolution, and system support.
  • Good understanding of integration points with SD, FI, PP, and QM modules.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in the automotive industry or other manufacturing environments.
  • Exposure to SAP S/4HANA systems and Fiori apps.
  • SAP MM Certification.
  • Familiarity with SAP MDG (Master Data Governance) is an advantage.
