We are seeking a DevOps Engineer who is passionate about automation, scalability, security, and reliability. In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, manage and optimize cloud infrastructure, and build robust monitoring and alerting systems to ensure the high availability, performance, and compliance of applications. You will also play a key role in ensuring infrastructure security, data protection, and compliance with enterprise standards. Working closely with developers, product teams, and data scientists, you will streamline deployments, improve developer productivity, and support the delivery of AI-powered applications at scale.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, reliable, and automated deployments.
  • Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) with a focus on scalability, cost efficiency, and resilience.
  • Implement and enforce infrastructure security best practices, including identity/access management, encryption, and vulnerability management.
  • Ensure compliance with security and data protection standards and support audit readiness by maintaining documentation and controls.
  • Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
  • Set up and operate monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog) to guarantee uptime and system performance.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to automate build, test, and release processes, improving developer productivity.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues, performing root cause analysis and preventing recurrence.
  • Drive adoption of DevOps best practices, including containerization, orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud-native deployments.
  • Stay updated with emerging tools and practices in DevOps, cloud, and security, and apply them to strengthen systems and processes.

Qualifications & Requirements

Must-Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 2–4 years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer or Site Reliability Engineer.
  • Hands-on expertise with cloud platforms (AWS preferred; Azure/GCP a plus).
  • Strong, practical experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Hands-on experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD).
  • Proficiency with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Datadog).
  • Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar.
  • Solid knowledge of networking, system administration, and cloud security best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and collaboration skills in cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with AI/ML infrastructure (GPU workloads, ML pipelines, model deployment).
  • Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC2, GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS).
  • Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Kubernetes CKA/CKS, CompTIA Security+, or Terraform Associate.
  • Prior experience in a startup or high-growth environment, with a builder's mindset and adaptability.
