About the Role

We are looking for highly motivated Drone Development Interns who are passionate about UAV technology and want to work hands-on in building, testing, and deploying next-generation drones for defense & enterprise applications. You will work directly with our engineering team on real projects, including fixed-wing, VTOL, FPV, ISR platforms, and autonomous systems. If you love drones, coding, soldering, flying, and solving real engineering problemsthis internship is for you.

Key Responsibilities

1. UAV Assembly & Integration

Assist in building multirotor, FPV, & fixed-wing UAVs Power system assembly (ESC, motors, wiring harnesses, PDB) Battery interfacing, BMS basics & safety practices Mechanical fitment, payload integration, damping mechanisms

2. Flight Controller & Avionics

Setup & tuning of flight controllers (PX4 / ArduPilot / Betaflight) Sensor calibration (IMU, GPS, compass, airspeed) RF & telemetry integration (ELRS, Microhard, Sik, TBS Crossfire, etc.) Configure ground control systems (QGC / Mission Planner)

3. CAD & Rapid Prototyping (Preferred)

Basic 3D model modifications (Fusion360 / SolidWorks) 3D printing knowledge (PLA/ABS/ASA/CF filaments)

4. Field Testing

Assist in pre-flight checks, logging, and flight documentation Support flight testing & safety compliance Analysis of telemetry & flight performance

5. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain build logs, BOMs, and test reports Prepare SOPs & manuals for assembly/testing

Skills Required

Technical

soldering Understanding of drones / robotics / RC hobby systemsBasic electronics & soldering Familiarity with Li-ion/LiPo batteries batteries Familiarity with flight controllers & autopilots autopilots Basic Python/C++ preferred RF fundamentals & GPS basics are a plus.

Tools & Platforms (Nice to Have)

ArduPilot / PX4 / BetaflightQGroundControl / Mission Planner 3D CAD tools: SolidWorks / Fusion 360 Raspberry Pi / Jetson Nano basics Git / Linux basic knowledge

Soft Skills

Eligibility

B.Tech / B.E / Diploma in Electronics, Robotics, Aerospace, Mechanical, CS, or relevant field Prior drone building/RC hobby experience preferred Final-year students or fresh graduates can apply
