Finance Assistant – Treasury and T&E

The finance assistant will support the Finance Manager in performing the accounting activities and the bookkeeping (recording and/or controlling our financial transactions) for various entities of Deltatre Group located in Europe and US.

This is a hybrid role, and we expect you to attend the office at least 2 days per week.

Responsibilities

Bank accounts journals and bank reconciliation

• Bank and similar accounts (i.e., Paypal…) periodic reconciliation (weekly/monthly)
• Posting of all journals related to bank movements (collection from customers, vendor's payment, bank transfers, expenses…).
• Coordinate with billing team to allocate cash collection from customers
• Coordinate with AP team to allocate cash payment to vendors
• Management of bank admin communications
• Prepare the cash transfer from PayPal to company bank accounts (to be approved by the Finance Manager)
• Ensure bookkeeping is updated on a timely basis
• Invoice Payment: enter payment run into the bank, based on due dates of the invoices, for approval (2 payment runs per month plus ad hoc payments)
• Posting of various Journal Entries as needed

Travel & Expense process

• Use our T&E global tool (Yokoy) to review travel expense reports submitted by employee
• Check that expenses are in line with Deltatre Group Travel Policy and follow-up any deviation identified in order to approve or reject the expense report
• Book approved expense report in our Finance ERP (Netsuite)

Requirements

• 3 + years' experience in Finance and Accounting.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• All communication is in English, thus excellent English skills is a must
• Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
• Oracle Netsuite accounting software experience desirable but not essential.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload effectively.
• Capable of interacting with individuals at various levels and resolving queries.
• Proactive problem-solving abilities.
