Your Impact

We are seeking a versatile and passionate Software Engineer – UI to join our growing AI Defense team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in building modern generative AI applications that will power innovation across our entire company. You will work closely with data scientists, collaborate with other engineers and multi-functional teams, and contribute to the development of robust, scalable, and high-performance AI solutions.

• Develop modern AI applications
  : Design and build innovative generative AI applications that are secure, reliable, and scalable.
• Translate business needs into technical solutions
  : Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and roadmaps.
• Innovate the User Experience:
  Experiment with innovative UI/UX patterns and interaction models to effectively present and leverage AI-generated content and insights.
• Build Seamless Integrations:
  Develop and maintain front-end components and tools that enable the smooth integration and display of AI-powered features within our applications.
• Instrumentation
  : Implement the right types of instrumentation to supervise and measure the performance, reliability, and security.
• Fixing
  : Debug and fix integration issues, identifying bottlenecks or errors and implementing solutions to optimize service interactions.
• Scale and Performance Optimization
  : Work on scale and performance tuning and optimization of different components to ensure efficient, responsive operation for handling large volumes of requests.
• Collaborate effectively
  : Work closely with data scientists, researchers, product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
• Contribute to a strong engineering culture
  : Participate actively in code reviews, knowledge sharing sessions, and team discussions.
• Stay ahead of the curve
  : Continuously learn and stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI/ML research, industry trends, and best practices.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's degree or equivalent experience in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field with 10+ years of professional experience in a senior or lead front-end engineering role, with a consistent track record of shipping complex, user-facing applications.
• Expert proficiency in JavaScript, , and modern front-end frameworks like , with a deep understanding of core web technologies and performance optimization.
• Demonstrable experience in designing and building complex, large-scale user interfaces and data visualizations, with mastery of HTML, CSS, and preprocessors.
• Strong architectural design skills with a deep understanding of micro-frontends and enterprise application integration.
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD), building comprehensive testing suites, and using observability and monitoring tools.
• Good communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with server-side rendering (SSR) frameworks (e.g., ).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• A portfolio or examples of work demonstrating significant contributions to large-scale, high-traffic web applications.
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with multi-functional teams.
