Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Android Application Developer with a strong command of Java/Kotlin, Android Studio, and Android SDK. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in MVC architecture, API integration, and mobile app design principles. You will be responsible for developing high-quality, efficient, and user-friendly Android applications that meet business and user needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain native Android applications using Java and/or Kotlin.
  • Build scalable and high-performance applications following MVC architecture and clean coding practices.
  • Work with Android Studio, Android SDK, and related frameworks for efficient app development.
  • Integrate RESTful APIs, XML, and JSON Web Services for seamless communication with backend systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (UI/UX designers, QA, backend developers, and product managers) to deliver robust solutions.
  • Optimize applications for performance, speed, and usability across multiple Android devices and versions.
  • Implement third-party SDKs, libraries, and APIs as needed.
  • Debug, test, and fix issues to ensure high app stability and quality.
  • Stay updated with the latest Android development trends, tools, and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of hands-on experience in Android app development.
  • Proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin programming languages.
  • Strong experience using Android Studio and Android SDK.
  • Solid understanding of MVC architecture and Android design patterns.
  • Experience with API integration, XML, and JSON Web Services.
  • Good understanding of Material Design principles and UI/UX best practices.
  • Familiarity with SQLite, Room Database, and local data storage options.
  • Experience using version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a good team player.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

  • Knowledge of MVVM, MVP, or Clean Architecture.
  • Experience with Firebase, Retrofit, Glide/Picasso, and Push Notifications.
  • Familiarity with Play Store publishing and app release management.
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience with Unit Testing and Continuous Integration (CI/CD) tools.

Job Type: Full-time
