Primary Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product management, portfolio and technology architecture leads to plan out, document and execute strategic claims management delivery roadmaps – including blueprints and reference architectures
• Use a consultative, agile approach to solving problems that support business, technology and financial strategies with defined architecture principles
• Collaborate with our business partners and product managers to understand / influence business requirements, capability and feature definition
• Demonstrate understanding of cross - functional / cross - domain requirements, non-functional requirements and impacts
• Stay abreast of current and emerging technologies / products / trends related to architectural solutions. Utilize those findings to influence our technology strategy and solution design
• Facilitate / lead / participate in identification of solution options and features and prepare related estimates for business case
• Create architecture deliverables that describe the solution that other teams can follow
• Ensure alignment with enterprise technology standards (e.g. solution patterns, application frameworks, technology roadmaps, capital plans)
• Identify gaps between established standards and proposed solutions and follow the exception / waiver process as needed as part of the architecture governance model
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of professional experience in technology disciplines, focusing on business strategy, product strategy, enterprise architecture, solution architecture, data architecture, integrations architecture, and technology architecture
• 5+ years of architectural experience in Healthcare, primarily in the Payer and Provider space, creating capability, project, and program-level architecture solutions and implementation roadmaps
• 3+ years of proven success in driving business technology strategies that lead to product distinction
• 3+ years of experience managing relationships and communications with senior and executive-level business and technology leaders to influence desired outcomes without direct authority
• 3+ years of ability to estimate the financial impact of technical architecture alternatives
• 2+ years of experience with designing and implementing cloud architectures (Azure OR GCP) preferably azure
• 2+ years in Agile Delivery methods

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Agile Product development process; SAFE Agile certified
• TOGAF certification or experience with PEAF, and/or other enterprise architecture frameworks
• Architectural experience in healthcare, primarily in the Payer and Provider space, creating capability, project, and program-level architecture solutions and implementation roadmaps, including transition states
• Experience in architecting solutions to migrate from on-prem to Microsoft Azure as well as Cloud-native solutions
• Experience in legacy modernization from Mainframe to modern technologies
• Solid understanding of data architecture, data engineering, and data science concepts
• Proficiency in AI/ML frameworks and tools
• Up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI/ML technologies and methodologies, and able to apply this knowledge to drive innovation
