Windows Administration:

  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows Server and Desktop operating systems.
  • Manage and configure applications such as File Server, Shared Access, Remote Desktop, Windows Firewall, Clustering, and IIS.
  • Administer Microsoft Active Directory including user management, Group Policy configuration, and event monitoring.
  • Perform Windows networking troubleshooting.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL Server installation and configuration.

Linux Administration:

  • Install and troubleshoot various Linux distributions.
  • Manage application installation and resolve related issues.
  • Perform Linux networking troubleshooting.

Virtualization:

  • Hands-on experience with virtualization platforms (VMware / Hyper-V / XenServer).
  • Create, manage, and troubleshoot virtual machines and their networking.

Networking:

  • Configure and manage switches and firewalls.
  • Administer at least one firewall platform.
  • Understand routing and VLAN and VPN concepts.

Cloud Administration:

  • Hands-on experience with any major cloud platform (AWS / Azure / GCP).
  • Create and manage virtual machines (instances) in the cloud.
  • Knowledge of IAM (Identity and Access Management) and cloud networking.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft O365 applications.

Required Skills:

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.
