Maintenance Engineer

About the Role

We are hiring a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to support the operation, upkeep, and preventive maintenance of our plant machinery. The role requires hands-on troubleshooting skills and a strong understanding of mechanical equipment used in manufacturing. Candidates who can join within 15 days will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of plant machinery.
• Assist in preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
• Monitor machine performance and identify recurring issues.
• Support breakdown maintenance and ensure minimal downtime.
• Maintain maintenance logs, records, and checklists.
• Coordinate with production, electrical, and utility teams as required.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and maintenance protocols.
• Support installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of mechanical equipment, hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, etc.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and basic technical documentation.
• Hands-on troubleshooting and repair ability.
• Good coordination skills and willingness to work on shop-floor activities.
• Exposure to plant maintenance in manufacturing/engineering environments (preferred).
• Diploma / B.Tech / B.E in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance (manufacturing/engineering industry preferred).
• Must be willing to work in rotating shifts (if applicable).
• Must be able to join within 15 days.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30, ₹50,000.00 per month
