  1. Job Purpose

  2. Monitor project activity and work progress.

  3. Overall coordination with client/vendors and within inter-departments for execution and timely completion of projects.

  4. Engineering of electrical deliverables for streel processing line.

  5. Key Result Area

  6. Timely completion of Project as per schedule

  7. Control of cost within budgets
  8. Timely receipt of client payments as per schedule
  9. Self & Subordinate Development

  10. Quality of Engineering deliverables

  11. Key Responsibilities

  12. Coordinate with all the departments for project activities to complete it on time by providing client requirements as and when required within the stipulated time frame & cost.

  13. Scheduling of project systems
  14. Generation of MCL, functional description and basic engineering.
  15. Procurement and dispatch of direct brought-out items as per schedule and give dispatch clearance in consultation with client.
  16. Coordinate with client for project requirements and updates on progress of projects.
  17. Manage and coordinate all changes/deviations in engineering and design.
  18. Manage and coordinate with manufacturing, assembly, and dispatch departments for timely and completeness of dispatch.
  19. Preparation of project reports
  20. Generating system specifications
  21. Checking & approval of drawings submitted by Electrical system supplier.
  22. Cable routing engineering

  23. Inspection of systems at vendors work

  24. Qualification and Experience

The candidate should be an

  • Bachelor of Electrical/Instrumentation/Electronics Engineering with 8-10 years of experience in steel processing (downstream)
  • Knowledge of SAP

  • Knowledge of AutoCAD

  • Technical Competencies

  • Thorough knowledge of Electrical/Instrumentation/Electronics equipment parts.

  • Other Competencies

  • Good Presentation Skills.

  • Good Interpersonal Skills.
  • Good Communication Skills.
  • Good Negotiation Skills.
