Role Overview:
The Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS) will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud infrastructure. The role plays a key part in driving cloud transformation initiatives and ensuring efficiency, security, and reliability across environments.  

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Design, implement, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure following best practices for scalability, security, and reliability.

  • Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline.

  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.

  • Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).

  • Set up and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting with CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.

  • Ensure compliance and security across environments by managing IAM roles, VPCs, and network configurations.

  • Collaborate closely with development and operations teams to streamline deployments and optimize performance.

  • Lead and mentor junior DevOps engineers, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.

  • Optimize cost, performance, and reliability across AWS infrastructure and services.

Required Skills:
Must-Have:  

  • AWS Cloud (5–7 years): EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, EKS, IAM, CloudFormation

  • CI/CD (5 years): Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline

  • Infrastructure as Code (4–6 years): Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible

  • Containers (4–6 years): Docker, Kubernetes (EKS)

  • Monitoring & Logging (3–5 years): CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack

  • Linux Administration (6–8 years), scripting (Python/Bash)

  • Networking & Security (5+ years): VPCs, IAM, VPNs, load balancing

Good-to-Have:

  • DevSecOps (2–4 years): security scanning, compliance, vulnerability management

  • Leadership experience (3–5 years), Agile/Scrum environments
