We are looking for an API Designer with 8+ years of experience in API-first product design and microservices architecture. In this role, you will design and deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing APIs that drive innovation in the banking industry.

What you'll do:

  • Design and document REST APIs using OAS3/RAML
  • Define data/resource models and ensure API design standards
  • Collaborate with product managers & developers to deliver robust APIs
  • Optimize API performance, security, and adoption

What we're looking for:

  • Expertise in API architecture, REST, JSON, microservices
  • Experience with Java, Spring Boot, GitHub
  • Familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, API Gateways (Kong a plus)
  • Knowledge of Agile, API security, and event-driven design

Nice to have:

Financial systems experience, Splunk/AppDynamics, and strong documentation skills.
