About the Role:

We are looking for a senior Chartered Accountant (CA) to oversee the financial health, statutory compliance, and audit readiness of one or more of our group companies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial integrity, ensuring accurate filings, and guiding the internal accounts team. You will play a crucial role in financial planning, sanity checks, and long-term advisory for company growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-End Compliance: Ensure all statutory, regulatory, and tax compliances (GST, TDS, ROC, IT) for the company and its directors are met on time.

  • Audit and Books Finalization: Conduct internal audits, review financial statements, and finalize books of accounts monthly, quarterly, and annually.

  • Filing and Documentation: Handle all returns, filings, and submissions related to income tax, MCA, GST, and related authorities.

  • Leadership & Oversight: Guide and mentor the in-house accountant. Supervise day-to-day financial operations and sanity-check books and practices.

  • Advisory Role: Provide insights on financial best practices, cost optimization, risk mitigation, and contribute to the company's financial strategy.

  • Audit Preparedness: Prepare the organization for statutory, internal, and external audits and liaise with auditors as needed.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant, eligible to sign and certify financial documents as per Indian regulations.

  • Minimum 1 year of post-qualification experience, having completed at least one full financial cycle (book closure, filings, audits, etc.)

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, Indian taxation, and corporate laws.

  • Experience in managing company-level audits and filings independently.

  • Ability to critically analyze books and practices for compliance and correctness.

Preferred Qualities:

  • Prior experience in the IT services or tech industry.

  • Strong communication and documentation skills.

  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
