Job Description:

Position: Pre-Primary Teacher

Location: Rising Star School, Marunji–Dattwadi, Pune

Job Summary:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Pre-Primary Teacher to join our team at Rising Star School The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating educational environment for young students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in core subjects such as reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies.

  • Develop age-appropriate lesson plans and instructional materials.

  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.

  • Assess and monitor students' progress through observations, assignments, and tests.

  • Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about students' progress and needs.

  • Use a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles.

  • Manage classroom behavior effectively to ensure a conducive learning environment.

  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the overall educational experience.

  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay updated with educational practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.

  • Valid teaching certification or licensure.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with primary school students.

  • Strong understanding of child development and educational best practices.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Patience, creativity, and a passion for teaching young children.

  • Ability to create a supportive and engaging learning environment.

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position with standard school hours.

  • Occasional participation in school events and parent-teacher meetings outside regular hours.
