We are currently seeking a Business Consulting Analyst to join our team in Bengaluru, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

Job Description

As an Analyst at NTT DATA Supply Chain Consulting (SCC), you join a team that helps craft Supply Chain strategies for the world's largest and most dynamic firms. You will work in small teams of analytical thinkers and Supply Chain experts with a passion for problem solving. As part of a rapidly growing global firm, you will have opportunities to contribute, gain experience, learn, grow and advance in a stimulating small company environment.

A typical day in an Analyst's role at NTT DATA SCC would entail:

• Working closely with the project manager to gather relevant data from our clients

• Performing validations on large datasets and highlighting any irregularities / inconsistencies / outliers

• Developing crisp reports / visualizations / dashboards to highlight patterns / trends observed during analysis

• Assisting the team in developing inputs for Supply Chain Network Optimization models

• Analyzing the output from these sophisticated models to arrive at insights and recommendations that clients can act upon

• Coordinating with team (generally, a close-knit team of 3-5 members) in developing presentations that drive home the team's findings / analysis / recommendations

• Upskilling yourself in various Supply Chain workstreams to be able to move up the project ownership ladder

• Contributing to internal projects that aim at developing intellectual properties / marketing / recruitment

Skills we desire:

• Programming – Python / R

• Database management – SQL / MySQL

• Business Intelligence tools – Tableau / Power BI

• Workflow Automation – KNIME / Alteryx

• Spreadsheets – Advanced Excel / Google Sheets

Extra points if you:

• Demonstrate understanding of Supply Chain concepts such as Network Design or Inventory Optimization

• Have worked on or are familiar with Mixed-Integer Linear Programming (MILP) using Excel Solver or commercial tools such as Cosmic Frog (Optilogic), Supply Chain Guru X (Coupa) or others

Educational qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent from a leading institution in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or other related majors
