Key Role and Responsibilities:

  • Verification of crew qualifications / documentation
  • Application of flag state required endorsements and certificates
  • Visa application and flight booking
  • Ensure that crew permits, invitation letters, guarantee letters, travel itinerary are obtained in prior to mobilization
  • Preparation of claims pertaining to crew travel expenses
  • Oversee the performance appraisals and career progression of seafarers
  • Responsible to Identify Sources, Shortlist and Mobilise Required Crew for the Project, as per Qualification and Experience Criteria of Scope of work.
  • Ensure efficiency of crewing functions such as timely crew changes, crew sourcing, recruitment and retention
  • Ensure the crewing functions are executed in compliance with the company SMS, systems, policies and procedure
  • Ensure crewing operations are in full compliance with the laws and regulations within the countries that we operate as well as the requirements of the charters
  • Ensure joining crews have the necessary competency qualifications to adhere to all applicable regulations and client's requirements
  • Ensure that crew shall be put through stringent appraisal process by respective vessel masters and/or appointed shore-based superintendent
  • Verify crewing expenses and punctual submission of weekly crewing reports
  • Updating of marine personnel personal records in crew management system.
  • Administer statutory requirement such as tax/provident fund, social security, etc.
  • Crew Change Planning & Coordination as required.
  • Compilation of CV in line with Clients Requirement on case-to-case basis.
  • Verification of Documents Such as but not limited to Qualifications, Experience, Medical Report, Offshore Survivals, PCC, prior to engaging as sub-contractor / free lancers, including their documentation, logistics and mobilization.
  • Coordinate with projects team and freelancers for fresh mobilization or for crew changes on running projects, and ensure Timely efficiently cost-effective approach.
  • Build Data Base, create a competent and experience Personnel 's Dictionary of all category and keep up date.
  • Maintain ONGC NED Pass Records, PCC Records, and Other Statutory documents of all crew deployed on worksites.
  • Documentation & clearing work for all Crew as required in line with client's specific stipulation.
  • To handle Crew change plan for all the project
  • Coordinate for crew sign in and sign off formalities
  • Monitor and control the crew and joining expenditures within the approved budget.
  • Arrange and coordinate travelling arrangements for on-off signer
  • Participate in inspections and audits. Take part in other duties as assigned by team head.
  • Preparation of agreements for the crew.
  • Ensure that all crewing matters for vessels assigned to are in compliance with the company policies and procedures
  • Assisting and practicing Health & safety measurement in compliance with company's HSE policy.

Job Specifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum 2 years relevant crewing experience
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Meticulous and able to work in fast-paced environment
  • Ms Office
