Job Description :

Study the drawings of the required components and decide the best machining process to be used in order to manufacture the component.

Generate 3D tool path & machining program (Turning & Milling) based on process routings & engineering drawings.

Calculate the time consumed to manufacture the component depending upon the size of the raw material used and dimensions of the completed product.

Write programs for different operations to be performed on machines.

Write different programs in case of large number of machines performing different processes.

Need to be able to use time management skills to perform the work efficiently. The works are assigned in set deadlines and the programmer is required to complete it within time.

Eligibility/Skills :

Should be having a bachelor's degree mechanical engineering or other related fields

and some knowledge of electronics and computers with some machine tool

experience.

Good knowledge in evaluating the drawings, job orders and blue prints to complete

the required calculations.

Should have good knowledge in using CAD/CAM tools, CNC Turning, VMC, HMC

and GD&T.
