Key Responsibilities:

Statutory Compliance & Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate filing of all statutory returns (GST, Income Tax, TDS, Profession Tax, RoC).

Tax Management: Prepare, review, and file GST returns, TDS returns, Advance Tax, and coordinate with tax consultants/auditors for assessments and scrutiny.

RoC & Secretarial Compliance: Maintain statutory registers, assist in annual filings with RoC, and support compliance with Companies Act.

Stock & Inventory Valuation: Implement and monitor appropriate stock valuation methods (FIFO, Weighted Average, etc.) for accurate reporting.

Fixed Assets & Depreciation: Maintain Fixed Asset Register, calculate depreciation as per Income Tax Act and Companies Act, and reconcile asset schedules.

Financial Controls: Support monthly and annual closing activities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.

Audit Support: Liaise with statutory, internal, and tax auditors to provide data, clarifications, and ensure audit requirements are met.

Process Improvement: Identify gaps in compliance processes and recommend/implement best practices for better accuracy and efficiency.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of GST, Income Tax, TDS, Profession Tax, and RoC Compliance.

Hands-on expertise in Stock Valuation Methods and Fixed Asset Register management.

Proficiency in Depreciation calculation as per IT Act & Companies Act.

Excellent understanding of accounting principles, statutory laws, and financial reporting.

Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple deadlines with accuracy and accountability.

Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and accounting software.

Qualifications & Experience:

Educational Qualification: CA Inter / CMA Inter / MBA (Finance) / M.Com with relevant experience.

Experience: 4-8 years of hands-on experience in statutory compliance and financial reporting.

Prior experience in handling audits, taxation, and statutory filings is preferred.
