Job Description

Summary:

1) The candidate will be supporting the Database Production Operations of the SFMS applications

2) The candidate should have the skill to mentor the team and work paralelly

Experience:

1)Candidate should have strong 5-8 years of experience as Senior Product on Support Engineer/Analyst.

2)On software applications like, Oracle DB, Postgres.

3)Windows and any one of the UNIX environments (AIX/RHEL). 4)Experience in leading, managing and direct ng a team of people to deliver results.

Certifications:

Oracle Certified Professional (OCP)

Knowledge:

Candidate should have good knowledge of Windows and any one of the UNIX environments (AIX/RHEL).

1) Sound knowledge of Oracle databases on RAC platform with hands on experience with design, development, and implementation in a large enterprise.

2) Solid hands-on experience with Oracle RAC database management and support.

3) Hands on experience with database security and database encryption.

4) Expert level knowledge of database auditing, audit logging, creating benchmark for audit points.

5) Expert level knowledge of user access management and database privileges.

6) Hands on experience with deploying database security patches and remediation of database vulnerabilities.

7) Hands on experience with installation, configuration and maintenance for Oracle 12c/19c RAC and 12c/19c ASM.

8) Sound knowledge about RMAN backup/recovery experience on very large databases.

9) Sound knowledge is required with Oracle performance analysis using several tools Statspack, SQL tracing, AWR, ASH report etc 10)Responsible for building, implementation, configuration, managing, documenting, and tuning PostgreSQL 11 and above database with Redhat Linux.

11)Support PostgreSQL databases through the development and production lifecycles with related operational teams.

12)Provide PostgreSQL database solutions reviews and advises within company policies; Troubleshoot and resolve PostgreSQL database related items.

Technical Skills:

Oracle Database 19c, Postgres 16.

B.Tech/B.E.
