Pune (Wasuli Chakan Industrial Area)

Interview Process:

Work Details:

5 days/week

Shift timings: 6 AM2 PM | 9 AM–5:30 PM | 2 PM–10:30 PM (No night shift)

No cab facility

Qualification & Experience:

BE in Mechanical /Master's degree

9–10 years of relevant experience

Role Overview:

You will be responsible for designing & developing automotive sunroofs and shading systems – from concept to validation – ensuring robust, customer-approved designs aligned with OEM requirements and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design & develop sunroofs, shading systems, and related components
  • Perform engineering calculations and tolerance stack-up analysis
  • Support manufacturing engineering & quality at Pune plant
  • Execute product changes, customer validations, and approvals
  • Prepare design proposals and deliver technical presentations to OEMs
  • Benchmark competitor products & contribute to global product strategy
  • Apply DFMEA, DVP, VAVE & MPV practices in design
  • Ensure validated, production-ready designs meeting OEM & company standards
  • Drive customer satisfaction in terms of Quality, Cost, and Delivery

Must-Have Skills:

Proven knowledge of GD&T & tolerance stack-up

Strong working knowledge of DFMEA, DVP, VAVE & MPV

Experience in customer-facing design validation & approvals

Ability to manage technical discussions & present solutions to OEMs
