About the Role

Do you have a passion for building high-quality, scalable software solutions? If so, then we want you on our team as a Software Engineer We are searching for a talented engineer to play a pivotal role in the design, development, and delivery of our software products. You will be responsible for the execution of complex features, contributing to technical discussions and a collaborative and innovative development environment.

Key Responsibilities


• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain complex software features and functionalities.


• Write clean, well-documented, efficient, and maintainable code.


• Collaborate with senior engineers and architects to define technical solutions and system design.


• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback.


• Participate in the identification and implementation of new technologies.


• Designing, querying, and optimizing relational and non-relational databases


• Integrating applications with databases and ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval


• Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues.


• Building interactive dashboards and reporting, using data visualisation


• Automate testing processes and write unit tests.


• Stay up to date with the latest software development trends and best practices.

Required Skills and Experience


• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).


• 2-4 years of experience in software development.


• 2 years of experience in Java and Python.


• 1year of experience with SQL databases (Microsoft SQL, MySQL) and Oracle.


• Past experience with data visualisation and dashboarding tools such as Power BI.


• Strong understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).


• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).


• Experience with MS Azure and AWS


• Experience with building APIs and integration with other systems.


• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.


• Strong communication and collaboration skills.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• A passion for learning and staying up to date with the latest technologies.

Good to Have


• Proficiency with Golang and C++


• Experience with GCP.


• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).


• Experience in performance optimisation techniques.

Bonus Points


• Experience working with a Bank or Fintech.
