Role Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Assistant Manager to join our HR operations Team. This role will primarily focus on HR operations and MIS reporting, with additional responsibilities involving payroll / leave and attendance management. The ideal candidate will have strong data visualization skills and a passion for process improvement through automation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and automate dashboards using Excel or Power BI for payroll insights and workforce analytics.
  • Prepare and manage MIS reports related to payroll, leave, and attendance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
  • Support audits and compliance checks by providing relevant data and reports.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within payroll and attendance workflows.
  • Assist in managing leave balances, attendance exceptions, and related queries.
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across payroll and attendance systems.

  • Strong knowledge of MIS reporting and data analysis.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, and macros).
  • Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools.
  • Understanding of payroll processes, statutory compliance, and leave/attendance systems.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
