Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Technical Content Writer to join our Product Management Department. In this role, you will be responsible for creating clear, concise, and engaging technical documentation and content that supports our product development lifecycle. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to produce content that effectively communicates the features, benefits, and usage of our products to both internal teams and external audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation:

  • Develop and maintain a wide range of technical documents including user manuals, API documentation, release notes, product specifications, and internal knowledge bases.

  • Create engaging and user-friendly content that clearly explains complex technical concepts and product features.

  • Collaboration:

  • Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather information and ensure accuracy and completeness of content.

  • Participate in product development meetings to understand new features, changes, and updates.

  • Content Strategy:

  • Develop and implement content strategies that align with product goals and user needs.

  • Identify opportunities for content improvement and standardization across various product documents.

  • Quality Assurance:

  • Review and edit content to ensure clarity, consistency, and adherence to company style guides and standards.

  • Conduct usability tests and gather feedback to refine and enhance documentation.

  • Research and Learning:

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure content is current and relevant.

  • Continuously improve technical writing skills and adapt to evolving product needs.

  • Content Management:

  • Organize and manage content repositories and ensure that documentation is accessible and up-to-date.

  • Implement content management tools and systems as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a technical writer or content writer with a strong portfolio of technical documentation.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to understand and convey complex technical concepts in a clear and engaging manner.
  • Proficiency in documentation tools such as Wordpress, Markdown, Confluence, or similar platforms.
  • Experience with content management systems and version control tools.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with product management processes and software development life cycle is a plus.

  • Knowledge of programming languages or software development practices.
