AI Security Analyst
Position Summary:
We are looking for an AI Security Analyst to join ADM's Global Information & Cyber Security (GICS), Security Architecture & Engineering team
The AI Security Analyst is responsible for assessing, implementing, and managing security measures that protect artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML) systems across their lifecycle. This role ensures confidentiality, integrity, availability, safety and ethical use of AI systems, while proactively identifying and mitigating risks from adversarial machine learning, data poisoning, model leakage, and unauthorized access. The AI Security Analyst will work cross-functionally with data science, security operations, compliance, and software engineering teams to build secure and trustworthy AI systems.

Job Responsibilities:
- Identify and assess AI-specific threats (e.g., OWASP ML Top 10, OWASP LLM Top 10) within ADM's developed software.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data science, security analysts, engineers, and stakeholders, to guide secure AI development.
- Conduct threat modeling specific to AI/ML pipelines, including model inference, training data integrity, and ML deployment environments.
- Identify and assess AI-specific threats such as model inversion, membership inference, and adversarial attacks.
- Work with and lead collaboration for adversarial testing, red teaming, and stress testing on AI models.
- Validate model robustness, resilience, and explainability as part of ongoing security assessments.
- Develop and maintain documentation for AI security best practices.
- Ensure compliance with data protection laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) related to AI systems and datasets.
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI and automation technologies to continuously improve our security engineering.
Job Requirements:
- Understanding of AI/ML principles, including supervised/unsupervised learning, neural networks, and model serving.
- Experience with common ML platforms (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn) and MLOps tools (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow).
- Familiarity with adversarial machine learning concepts and tools (e.g., IBM Adversarial Robustness Toolbox, CleverHans).
- Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python, Bash, or .Net.
- Knowledge of security tools and frameworks (e.g., threat modeling with STRIDE or MITRE ATLAS, vulnerability scanners, SIEM).
- Familiarity with AI security issues (e.g., OWASP Machine Learning Security Top Ten, OWASP LLM Top Ten)
Desired Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 1 year focused on AI/ML security, data science security, or related areas.
- GIAC Machine Learning Security Essentials (GMLE).
- Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate.
- Equivalent AI/ML security credentials.
- Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to explain complex AI security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Collaborative mindset with experience working across multidisciplinary teams.
- Current holder of Security Certifications.
- Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot complex systems under pressure.
- Communication: Translate technical risks into business impact for stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Work across teams to embed security into engineering culture.
- Bachelors' degree or equivalent work experience.
- Project management experience.
- Experience with Lifecycle and licensing within cloud environments.
