Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Photoshop and SketchUp with a focus on applications in event design and planning.
- Develop and deliver practical projects tailored to event management needs (e.g., event posters, branding collaterals, set and stage designs, décor mockups).
- Encourage students to use digital design tools to visualize and present client concepts effectively.
- Mentor students on creative software skills, layout composition, and presentation techniques.
- Collaborate with event faculty to design integrated assignments and workshops combining design with event planning.
- Stay updated with industry trends and software updates to keep the curriculum modern and market-relevant.
- Foster a motivating classroom atmosphere, hyping students to explore design thinking and creativity.
- Assess student progress through projects, presentations, and portfolio reviews.
- Support college events, exhibitions, and student showcases through creative guidance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Applications, Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, SketchUp, and other relevant design software.
- Prior teaching or training experience preferred (especially with event management or design students).
- Strong creative portfolio demonstrating applied design work.
- Excellent communication, mentoring, and interpersonal skills.
