QA Test Lead – eCommerce

We are looking for a highly skilled QA Test Lead with extensive experience in the eCommerce domain to lead and mentor a team of manual and automation QA engineers. The ideal candidate will drive quality assurance efforts by designing effective test strategies, ensuring thorough test coverage, and delivering high-quality software releases in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of manual and automation QA engineers across multiple projects.
  • Define and implement comprehensive test strategies, plans, and cases aligned with business and technical requirements.
  • Optimize testing processes, manage test data, and set up test environments.
  • Ensure high standards of test design, execution, and coverage.
  • Track, analyze, and report QA metrics such as defect density, test coverage, and execution progress.
  • Collaborate closely with development, product management, and DevOps teams.
  • Oversee automation framework development and maintenance.
  • Drive timely delivery of high-quality releases in a dynamic eCommerce environment.
  • Continuously enhance QA processes and advocate for quality best practices.
  • Communicate status, risks, and progress effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 8–10 years of QA experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven expertise in eCommerce domain testing.
  • Strong knowledge of manual and automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Postman, Karate).
  • Expertise in test design, test case optimization, and test data management.
  • Experience with QA metrics, reporting, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and their integration with QA processes.
