Hi, I'm Sanchit, Senior Finance Manager of Material Depot. I'm excited to find someone to collaborate with me directly on the financial and accounts reporting. This involves working directly with me and the finance, sales and operations teams to ensure compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle bookkeeping, reconciliations, vendor payments, and invoicing using accounting tools like Tally, Zoho, or similar platforms
  • Prepare and maintain data for GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, and other statutory filings
  • Coordinate with external CA firms for statutory and tax compliance
  • Act as the first line of control for employee expenses and reimbursements
  • Build and maintain MIS reports and dashboards for leadership review (monthly P&L, cash flow, expense tracking)
  • Support internal teams and leadership with financial insights and ensure timely reporting
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and due diligence

Desired Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: B.Com / M.Com / Semi-qualified CA or CMA
  • Experience: 1–4 years of relevant experience in finance/accounting (startup or corporate)
  • Hands-on experience with Tally, Zoho Books, or similar accounting tools
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and statutory compliance
  • Good with Excel / Google Sheets; knowledge of MIS/dashboarding is a plus
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong stakeholder management skills – able to work across teams and with external partners
