Position Overview:

The General Manager of Operations will be responsible for overseeing and coordinate the entire operations of the company, including product design, manufacturing processes, quality assurance, supply chain management, and regulatory compliance. This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of the medical device industry. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Operational Leadership:

  2. Lead and manage all aspects of the operations department to ensure the highest levels of efficiency and effectiveness.

  3. Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the companys goals and objectives.

  4. Production Management:

  5. Oversee production schedules, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality medical equipment.

  6. Implement lean manufacturing principles to optimize production processes and reduce waste.

  7. Quality Assurance:

  8. Establish and maintain robust quality control systems to comply with industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO, FDA).

  9. Lead efforts in continuous improvement initiatives and root cause analysis to enhance product quality.

  10. Supply Chain Management:

  11. Oversee procurement, inventory management, and logistics to ensure a streamlined supply chain.

  12. Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to secure the best quality materials and services.

  13. Regulatory Compliance:

  14. Ensure that all products meet regulatory requirements and certifications (e.g., FDA approvals, CE marking).

  15. Stay updated on industry regulations and guide the organization in compliance matters.

  16. Team Development:

  17. Mentor and develop operational staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

  18. Conduct performance evaluations and develop training programs to enhance team capabilities.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA/ Non-MBA)

    17+ years of experience in operations management with the medume or larger set up.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving skils are essential.
