The Tactical Purchasing Team Leader will oversee the procurement of goods and services essential for the company's operations. This role requires an analytical thinker with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. The successful candidate will have a proven record in purchasing, strong analytical skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for leading the direct purchasing team.

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies to meet the company's operational and manufacturing needs.
• Lead and manage the purchasing team, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
• Source and evaluate potential suppliers to ensure the best quality and value.
• Manage supplier relationships and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their purchasing requirements and provide solutions.
• Manage inventory levels to ensure the availability of materials while minimizing costs.
• Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain.
• Continuously evaluate and improve purchasing processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

• Education: A relevant degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
• Experience: A minimum of five years of experience in purchasing or procurement, with a proven record of leadership and project management.
• Industry Requirements: Experience in the medical device industry and collaborating with global companies is an advantage.
• Language Skills: High level of English proficiency.
• Strategic orientation and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management.
• Experience with SAP MRP is an advantage.
• Strong leadership and management skills.

• Initiative-taking and able to work independently.
• Strong team collaboration skills.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
