Solar Design Manager

Job Purpose: The role is to be responsible forconducting detailed Site Survey, preparation of Detailed BOM for overall SPVSystem, PV Layout, SLD, PV Syst Simulation, Vendor interactions, Optimum CostEstimation etc., Also, candidates with detailed engineering experiences will behighly preferred. Key Skills:  Strong Understanding of latest products and System relatedto Solar PV, Electrical System Design, Solar Design, CAD, Electrical, Systemperformance, civil and mechanical, Regulatory and Standards Knowledge, latestMarket Trends like Energy Storage[BESS], Hybrid Renewable energy will bepreferred.  Description of the roles and responsibilities: ​•       Singlepoint responsibility for Bid Estimation/Proposal during Business developmentprocess for Ground / Roof mounted solar systems by doing Detailed system designconceptualization, arriving at optimum generation data, preparing PV Layouts,Bill of material and SLDs, Vendor interactions, Optimum Cost Estimation, Tenderdocuments as a part of submission to customer in coordination with BD Team.•       Responsiblefor Optimum BOQ with Cost Estimation of overall Solar PV System to support BDTeam.•       Responsiblefor obtaining necessary inputs from internal standards/BD team / externalcustomers for designing optimum solar system and attending customer meetings asand when necessary.•       Responsiblefor on time preparation and submission of required documents as per Tender/BDrequirements.•       Aself - initiator, you will be able to manage your time and take theinitiative •       Theperson who wants to participate strongly in the development of a growingbusiness.•       Flexibility to work and adapt himself todifferent cultures and new projects RequirementsMinimum technical expertise withSkills and tools: ​•       Expertisein Running PVSYST, PVSol Software Tools, •       Workingknowledge of Helioscope, AutoCAD & Google SketchUp, Solar Labs •       Expertisein MS office package•       Shouldhave a bird's eye view on the entire solar system including detailed Site Survey,state wise solar Policy, civil and structural elements of solar system. •       Excellentcommunication skills – minimum written and spoken – English and Hindi•       ProjectExpertise: o Hands -on experience in designing and implementing commercial solarprojects.o       Strongunderstanding of solar system design, including layout optimization and costestimation.•       SoftSkills: o Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the abilityto listen, understand, and convey technical concepts effectively.o       Strongplanning and organizational abilities, attention to detail, and timemanagement. o Initiative -driven, with a proactive approach to problem -solving.       •  Education      :BE., in Electrical EngineeringExperience  : 5 -8years of Solar work experience in Design and Engineering [particularly 4 yearsof Bid Estimation Experience is preferred]      Should have working experience in the renewable energy sector.BenefitsWhat to expect:•       GrowthOpportunity: Be part of a rapidly expanding company where your role willcontribute to achieving ambitious goals.•       Location:Based out of the Bangalore Head Office.•       Travel:Travel is required, with the company covering travel and accommodation forbusiness trips.•       ProfessionalDevelopment: Opportunities for excellent professional and personal growth,including mentorship.•       CollaborativeEnvironment: Work in a dynamic, team -oriented setting.•       Cross -FunctionalInteraction: Collaborate with various disciplines and engage with teams acrossdifferent countries.•       InternationalExposures.
