SrTest AnalystJob DescriptionAnalyze ETL design documents, source-to-target mappings, and business rules to define comprehensive test coverage. Develop and execute test strategies, test cases, and test scripts for validating end-to-end data flow across staging, bronze, silver, and gold layers. Perform data validation and reconciliation between source systems and target databases using Teradata SQL, Hive, or Impala.

Validate Informatica workflows, sessions, and mappings for logic, data accuracy, and performance. Conduct integration, regression, and UAT support with business teams and development partners. Use synthetic and masked data for functional and performance testing aligned with banking security policies.

Report defects, track resolution, and provide daily and sprint-level testing status. Ensure traceability from business requirements to test scenarios with emphasis on banking compliance and financial data accuracy. Required Skills and Experience:Minimum 6 years of ETL/data warehouse testing experience, preferably in banking or financial services.

Proven expertise in Informatica PowerCenter and Teradata for large data volumes and complex transformations. Hands-on experience in Big Data environments (Cloudera/Hadoop, Hive, HDFS, Impala).

Strong proficiency in writing complex SQL queries for data validation and reconciliation. Understanding of data quality principles, metadata, and lineage validation. Familiarity with Agile delivery and using tools like JIRA for sprint-based testing.

Experience with test data creation, masking tools, and synthetic data usage aligned with regulatory compliance. Preferred Attributes:Strong knowledge of banking data systems, including customer, transaction, risk, and regulatory reporting domains. Understanding of Cognos/Power BI for validating reporting layer output against underlying data models.

Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work with distributed, cross-functional teams. Familiarity with test automation or scripting frameworks for large-scale data validation is a plus.
