Role Purpose:

As a Test Analyst, you will ensure the quality and reliability of software changes by leading the design, execution, and management of test processes.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, develop test plans, and execute System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and regression testing.

Your attention to detail and analytical skills will help identify defects and ensure all changes meet business and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and clarify functional and non-functional requirements.

- Test Planning: Develop detailed test plans outlining scope, approach, resources, and schedules; identify test scenarios from user stories using tools like Jira.

- Test Design: Create detailed test cases/scripts covering all functional areas and edge cases for SIT, UAT, and regression testing.

- Test Execution: Execute test cases, document results, and track defects using Jira or similar tools; validate integration points and business requirements.

- Defect Management: Log, prioritize, and work with development teams to resolve defects; coordinate retesting efforts.

- Test Reporting: Provide regular status updates on testing progress, defect status, and risks to project stakeholders.

- Collaboration: Engage actively with developers, business analysts, and project managers; participate in agile ceremonies like daily stand-ups and sprint reviews.

- Automation: Identify opportunities to automate testing; collaborate with automation engineers to develop and execute automated scripts.

- Post-Implementation Support: Monitor deployed applications for stability and performance; gather user feedback for continuous improvement.

- Continuous Improvement: Refine testing processes and methodologies based on lessons learned and industry best practices.

Experience & Skills:

- 6-9 years of software testing experience in financial services or global markets, with proven expertise in SIT, UAT, and regression testing.

- Proficient with test management tools such as Jira for requirements, test case, and defect tracking.

- Familiarity with automation tools (e., Selenium) and performance testing tools (e., LoadRunner) is a plus.

- Basic understanding of financial products, trading platforms, market regulations, and compliance frameworks.

- Experience working in Agile environments with active participation in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design effective test cases from complex business requirements.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaboration and reporting.

- Meticulous attention to detail ensuring thorough testing and accurate defect documentation.
