*Mission:*
The Electrical Design Engineer will play a critical role in designing and optimizing electrical systems for solar PV power plants, ensuring compliance with industry standards and utility regulations. The mission is to deliver technically sound, efficient, and cost-effective electrical designs—including SLDs, cable sizing, AC/DC layouts, and system configurations—while supporting procurement, installation, and commissioning phases to ensure successful project execution.

*Responsibilities:*

• Prepare and review Single Line Diagrams (SLD), wiring diagrams, and electrical layouts for solar PV plants, AC/DC cable routing.
• Cable sizing calculations.
• Design and optimize AC/DC system configurations including inverter sizing, cable schedules, earthing, and lightning protection systems.
• Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and technical specifications for electrical components such as inverters, transformers, switchgear, and cables.
• Evaluate and incorporate grid interconnection requirements as per DISCOM/utility norms.
• Support procurement by providing technical inputs and reviewing vendor drawings and datasheets.
• Ensure compliance with IEC, IS, and relevant international electrical codes and standards.
• Conduct site visits to verify installation and assist during commissioning as required

*Job Requirements:*

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Excellent Communication Skills - verbal and written.
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) & PVsyst.
• Knowledge of solar energy principles, systems, and components.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in technical drawings.
• 8-9 Year experience in solar energy or renewable energy projects.
