Role: Human Resources Intern (on-site - India). Join a hands-on People Ops team to support full-cycle HR operations, recruitment, employee experience, and HRIS administration. This internship offers practical exposure to talent acquisition, onboarding, HR processes and data-driven HR reporting with mentorship from senior HR professionals.
Role & Responsibilities- Support full-cycle recruitment: screen resumes, coordinate interview schedules, manage candidate communications and maintain ATS records.
- Coordinate onboarding logistics: prepare offer documentation, collect new-hire paperwork, set up orientation schedules and access provisioning.
- Maintain HRIS and employee records: perform accurate data entry, run periodic audits, and update employee profiles ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Assist payroll & benefits administration: collate timesheets, prepare input documents for payroll, and support benefits enrolment under guidance.
- Drive employee engagement and internal communications: help run surveys, organise on-site events, and support recognition programs.
- Produce basic HR reports and dashboards: summarize hiring metrics, attendance, attrition and help document standard operating procedures.
Must-Have
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with professional phone/email etiquette.
- Proficiency with MS Excel (basic formulas, VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and Google Workspace.
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills and ability to handle confidential information.
- 0–1 year of internship or exposure to HR/recruitment activities; comfortable working on-site in India full-time.
Preferred
- Familiarity with HRIS or ATS (Zoho People, BambooHR, Workable or similar) and basic HR compliance knowledge.
- Experience with campus hiring, sourcing on LinkedIn or running candidate outreach campaigns.
- Structured mentorship, hands-on learning and exposure to end-to-end HR operations with clear growth pathways.
- On-site, collaborative team environment with opportunities to work cross-functionally and drive impact.
- Stipend for interns, learning allowance for HR tools/certifications and potential conversion to full-time based on performance.
