Location: Chennai – Alwarthirunagar

Job Summary

We are hiring a Senior Landscape Architect with strong academic credentials and proven experience in large-scale landscape projects such as institutional campuses, public spaces, townships, and mixed-use developments. The role requires strong design capability, technical knowledge, and confidence to lead client presentations and site coordination across India.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Planning

• Lead landscape design from concept to detailed design and GFC drawings.
• Prepare masterplans, conceptual schemes, technical drawings, grading plans, planting layouts, BOQs, and presentation materials.
• Develop high-quality visualizations, renderings, and presentation decks for client meetings.

Project Scale Handling

Must have experience working on projects such as:

• 10–100 acre campus developments
• Township and mixed-use landscapes
• Public realm & institutional open spaces
• Large landscape redevelopment or infrastructure-linked projects

Technical Expertise

• Strong understanding of:
• Hardscape detailing and material selection
• Planting design, species selection, and horticulture basics
• Irrigation fundamentals (manual/automatic)
• Contour handling, slope grading, and earthwork coordination
• Landscape services integration (lighting, drainage, utilities)
• Indian standards, NBC norms, environmental guidelines

Execution & Coordination

• Conduct frequent site visits for supervision, snag lists, and quality checks.
• Review GFC drawings, shop drawings, materials, and mock-ups.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP, structural teams, PMC, and contractors.
• Ensure design intent is implemented correctly on-site.

Client Representation

• Present designs confidently to clients, authorities, and stakeholders.
• Support documentation for approvals and technical clarifications.

Internal Responsibilities

• Assist in design reviews, value engineering, and design audits.
• Guide junior team members when required.

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from a reputed institution.
• 6–8 years of professional experience in landscape design and execution.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating:
• At least 3 major large-scale projects
• Masterplan work + detailed drawings
• Rendered visuals & execution photographs
• Proficiency in:
• AutoCAD (advanced)
• SketchUp (intermediate–advanced)
• Lumion/Enscape (intermediate)
• Adobe Suite – Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign (advanced)
• MS Office & PowerPoint
