The Role: Social Media Intern

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Social Media Intern to join our team for a 6-month period. This role is perfect for a student or recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in content creation, community management, and digital marketing strategy. You will play a key role in supporting our daily social media operations across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Creation: Assist in developing, scheduling, and publishing engaging content (images, videos, and text posts) for platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, X, and Facebook.
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, algorithm changes, and best practices to ensure content relevance.
  • Community Engagement: Monitor comments, direct messages, and mentions; engage with our online community in a professional and timely manner.
  • Campaign Support: Help execute social media campaigns and promotions designed to increase brand awareness and audience growth.
  • Performance Tracking: Collect data on social media performance (likes, shares, comments, reach) and assist in basic reporting.
  • Asset Management: Organize and maintain a library of social media content assets (photos, videos, templates).

Qualifications & Skills

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Media Studies, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of major social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, etc.).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Basic proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, basic Photoshop) is a strong plus.
  • A high degree of creativity, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude.

Stipend & Tenure Details

  • Stipend: ₹3,000 – ₹5,000 per month (D.O.E - Depending on Experience).
  • Tenure: 6 Months.
  • Certificate: A Certificate of Internship will be provided upon successful completion of the tenure.
