Overview:
The Senior Software Developer - Java plays a crucial role in our organization, contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of high-quality software solutions. This position is essential for ensuring the seamless integration of systems, optimizing application performance, and driving innovation through advanced technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement software solutions using Java and related technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, system design, coding, testing, and deployment.
  • Conduct code reviews, analyze and resolve technical issues, and ensure code quality and best practices.
  • Deploy and maintain applications in production environments, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Contribute to architectural and design discussions, providing technical guidance and expertise.
  • Optimize application performance, identify potential bottlenecks, and propose solutions for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and technologies, and leverage new developments to enhance software functionality.
  • Collaborate with QA and support teams to address customer needs and provide technical support as required.
  • Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, (B.E. / B.Tech)or (PG in IT /CS or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development, with a focus on Java-based technologies.
  • Shall have Java SE certification or Spring professional certifications
  • Must have experience of working in 6 major e- Government projects
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum
  • Proven expertise in Java programming, Spring framework, and Hibernate ORM.
  • Strong understanding of database concepts and experience with SQL and relational databases.
  • Proficiency in software development best practices, including design patterns, SOLID principles, and clean code.
  • Experience with web services, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture.
  • Good understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and communicate technical concepts clearly.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, continuous integration, and delivery practices.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing learning and professional development in the software development field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong commitment to quality, excellence, and continuous improvement in software development processes.
  • Professional certifications such as Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Sun Certified Java Developer (SCJD) are a plus.
