Job Description:

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Azure, Docker, Kubernetes (AKS), and Helm
  • Deep understanding of cloud-native architecture, scaling, resiliency, and threat mitigation strategies
  • Experience building and maintaining pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
  • Proficiency in ARM templates, Bicep, and Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) deployments
  • Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, CLI, or Python
  • Expertise in Azure RBAC, Azure AD, and Privileged Identity Management (PIM)
  • Proven ability to design and enforce least-privilege access models
  • Deep knowledge of Azure Policy, Security Center / Defender for Cloud, and policy-driven governance
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA)
  • Experience in governance reporting, audit readiness, and external audit preparation
  • Experience with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Azure Monitor
  • Familiarity with Azure AI services, including Azure OpenAI and Cognitive Services
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven experience creating technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and onboarding guides

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead application and workload migrations from legacy environments to AKS
  • Act as SME for AKS and containerization best practices
  • Provide hands-on support for developer onboarding and troubleshooting
  • Automate provisioning and integration of GenAI use cases using Azure OpenAI and Cognitive Services
  • Support pipeline integrations with Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions
  • Guide teams in containerizing applications, preparing Dockerfiles, and modernizing apps for AKS
  • Collaborate with infra, network, and security teams to address dependencies
  • Implement and operationalize Microsoft Security Advisor recommendations
  • Design and enforce RBAC models across subscriptions and resources
  • Automate compliance checks and enforce policies using Azure Policy
  • Support audit readiness and deliver governance/compliance reporting
  • Continuously evaluate cloud configurations for vulnerabilities and recommend improvements
  • Contribute to incident response and root-cause analysis for security events
  • Create technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and best practice playbooks
  • Develop onboarding guides for AKS and platform services
  • Contribute to monitoring and observability tooling
